Program Manager - Dan Marlow

The mission of Facilities Management is to deliver electrical, mechanical, maintenance, energy management, fire protection, horticultural, custodial, technical, training, project management, safety and building renovation services for state owned buildings in the most efficient manner.

Facilities Management maintains and operates 88 state public buildings owned by the S.C. State Budget & Control Board and other Agencies. These include the S.C. State Capitol (State House), Columbia Mills Building (State Museum & Department of Revenue), Department of Health and Environment Control, Employment Security Commission, and the Governor's Mansion Complex. These Facilities are cared for under a preventive maintenance program developed by Facilities Management.

Organization

Facilities Management consists of teams that deliver a variety of building and related services. Each team has a leader who works with team members in the field to be sure that jobs are performed promptly and accurately. Team leaders report to the Program Manager for Facilities Management who guides staff in planning, organizing and managing the functions of the entire section. Facilities Management is one of the Service Centers that make up the General Services Division. The Program Manager reports directly to the General Services Director.
