Elease Portee is responsible for the Central Transportation Maintenance Facility (CTMF), the
Commercial Vendor Repair Program (CVRP), the Maintenance Facility Certification Review Program, and various other programs.
She is also responsible for coordinating needed training for State automotive technicians.
She retired from the US Army Reserve in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 21 years of active duty and reserve time. Elease has an extensive background and experience in the Transportation Corps of the US Army. She served in numerous positions in the military, ranging from Company Commander to Battalion Training and Operations Officer. She is an alumna of Benedict College and Kansas State University.
